Acaciawood Academy
A Christ-centered microschool where students are known, challenged, and supported as they grow in both academic understanding and character.
A Different Kind of School
Acaciawood Academy is a Christ-centered microschool designed for students who need more than a one-size-fits-all classroom.
Students are not expected to move at the same pace or learn the same way. Instead, they are taught at their level, with clear expectations and consistent support.
Students are not pushed ahead or held back—they are taught.
Personalized Learning That Works
Students work towardSpecific Learning Goals based on what they need to learn—not just what their grade level says.
Every part of the day is guided with clear expectations:
Students receive direct instruction in small groups (3–5 students)
Teachers lead focused lessons based on specific skills
Students practice and apply skills during structured work blocks
Teachers provide support, correction, and guidance in real time throughout the day
Students are not left to figure things out on their own. They are taught, supported, and held accountable.
Students build strong foundations in reading, writing, and math through direct instruction and consistent practice.
Academic Focus
Instruction is:
Clear and focused
Taught in small groups
Adjusted to each student’s level
Hands-on and interest-based
Promoting critical thinking and discussion
Students are expected to think, respond, and grow—not just complete assignments.
Faith and Character
Faith is not a separate subject—it is part of the entire day.
Students participate in:
Daily prayer and Scripture
Discussion and application
Guidance in how to respond, speak, and treat others
Character is taught through real situations, not just words.
We Meet Students Where They Are
We meet students where they are because Christ meets us where we are and calls us to grow.
Students come in at different levels, with different strengths and needs. They are taught from where they are—not where they are expected to be.
This allows students to grow with confidence instead of falling further behind.

A Day at Acaciawood Academy
Each day follows a clear, structured rhythm centered around both academic growth and faith.
Students know what is expected, what they are working on, and what they are responsible for each day.
The day begins with prayer and Scripture, setting the foundation for how students learn, think, and interact throughout the day.
Students move between:
Small group instruction (reading, writing, math)
Academic work blocks with teacher support
Science or history with discussion and application
Independent work guided by clear expectations
Reflection, prayer, and closing
You might see a teacher working with a small group on reading while another student practices math independently, followed by a discussion connecting a history lesson to Scripture.
Throughout the day, students are not only taught academically, but are also guided in how to speak, respond, and interact with others in light of Scripture.
Students are not sitting through long lectures or working on their own all day. They are taught directly, then given time to practice and grow with guidance.
